Hatchetflair
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Hatchetflair is a sandbox-survival game, with a focus on materials (extracting/acquiring them, refining with chemistry, building with them, buying/selling them,) and fun social interactions (creating and playing with characters of various species, complex interactions with others and NPCs, simple things like being able to sit/sleep most-anywhere, etc.)
Much of the game features original fantastical elements largely not inspired from generic fantasy, such as the fundamentals (faze, gray, gamma, digamma,) very many creature designs, a somewhat-original list of elements, worldbuilding, etc.
The game is currently quite early in development, as the vast majority of planned features and content have not been implemented yet. (You can track the game's current progress and updates in its official Discord server, see "More Information" below.)

Install instructions
(If not using the Itch.io app:) After downloading, you'll need to unzip/extract the folder, and inside of that should be the program's executable.
On Windows for me, when I first compile the game and try to run it, it tends to warn me about the program and prevents me from running it (humorously even though it's my own game.) If this happens to you, to unblock it so that you can actually run it:
- Right click the executable file and click "Properties".
- Under the "General" tab (the default one,) there should be a tick/check box around the bottom-right labelled "Unblock". Click that box so that it's checked.
- Then click "Apply' in the bottom right of the properties window. (You should now be able to run the game.)
